Used as much for guitar as for bass, the Fender Bassman is a blues man’s dream amp, with blonde
Tolex covered amps being one of the coolest of the cool.
The Bassman circuitry first appeared in 1952, along with the guitar equivalent, the ‘Twin’, called this
of course because of the twin speakers, which were a radical jump in technology at the time. Initially
debuted as a 1 x 15”, the cabinet styling and covering changed over the years but the basic chassis
remained the same for this `63 version.
A true classic!
