In the 70’s Ibanez ramped up its efforts to be taken seriously as a player in the guitar industry and set out to prove that their instruments could be manufactured to a high standard but yet still be affordable – how better to demonstrate this then strike at the heart by reproducing exact copies of the popular brands that represented the apex at the time, ie Gibson, Fender and a handful of others.

Taking it to the extreme, here is a faithful replica of the Gibson EDS1275 that was most famously brandished by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin.

These models were made between 1974 -1977

Both necks play really nicely, low actions and zero buzz on both!

12 string and 6 string neck,
Mahogany body,
Crown headstock inlay,
Twin rosewood fret boards, 12 string and six string,
Individual pickup selectors for each neck,
Shared tone and volume controls
Only minor dings on this instrument and those are on the back, and around where the stand touches
the body.
