Superb! …….chunky 50`s neck, very pretty flame and warm jazzy sound.
This example was purchased in 1953 in Durban and the original invoice is available with it ! The
original owner paid 250 Pounds for the guitar and amp, and the dealer valiantly threw in a guitar
stand!
This is the very rare ‘Mastertone’ version as later in `52 the control layout changed to the standard
4 knob Gibson setup, and the model was discontinued in 1956. In pictures of one of the early greats
Chuck Berry played a blond ES350N, but with the later 4 knob set-up.
This guitar is absolutely all original and a perfect collector grade instrument.
